For Those Who Knew Phillip

To Whom It May Concern,

I am David, and was Phillip's partner in business. I heard him talk often about this site, and the friends he made, so I thought I would let you know of his recent demise. In going through his computer files, I found your website.

Phil died on September 21 from a gunshot wound in the course of his employ. Unfortunately, he stuck his neck out one too many times in defense of another while working in Boston.

He mentioned you often; CR, Betsy, and apparently a young lady named Victoria. To hear him talk sometimes, I would have thought he was a relative to all of you.

Phil was a good, kind, and gentle man, and will be missed by myself as much as I'm sure his friends will miss him.

Thank You for being his friend.

Sincerely,
David

David,

I have been out of town and just now got online. I am devastated to hear this news. I had been wondering where Phillip had gone recently as I had not seen him check in recently. I figured he had gotten busy with life, as we all often do at times.

Shortly after we launched Bodies and the message board, Phillip and I had spent about two hours on the phone, until it became 3am on the east coast and I needed to say goodnight. It will be a conversation I will forever keep close to my heart.

I will keep you and his family in my thoughts, especially this week as we undertake yet another educational mission on the west coast at Creating Change.

Thank-you for taking the time to share this terrible news with us.

Sadly,

Betsy

Unhappy Phillip , Bye my friend

I guess life holds its own for all of us. I will miss Phillip and his postings here . I did not know him personally but his postings always made a person think about here and now.
I was thinking about what Betsy said about posing and not being online.
I see all the people that have registered and seldom do these people post on this site. The regulars who have nothing to fear come here quite often, I really appreciate all the postings. This site is a healing zone for some and information base for others. For me It is a place where I can try to understand others and not be ashamed of myself, thinking I am alone.
All Take Care , Az1

Unhappy thank you David

David,

Thank you for letting us know. I'm too much in shock to say much else. Our thoughts are with you.

David thank you for letting us know. I am still in shock after just reading this and feeling devistated as well. I really respected Phil and how he was so informative and supportive of all. It seemed that Phil and I were able to become instant friends originating at this group. He will be missed!!

God bless all,
CR
