Thanks, it's good to be back. It's been a strange journey to get here - literally took 5 or 6 years to build the strength to change a bad situation. But the future is looking wonderful. I'm able to do tons of stuff for myself that wasn't possible six months ago - started skating lessons, I'm auditioning for a dance ensemble, etc.
Yup, I'm in Philly, near Drexel and UPenn. Philly's odd, but kinda grows on you after a while.
The weird part is facing dating again. For me it's too much like job interviews - lots of stress and possibly huge consequences, in a very artificial setting. I'm trying to connect to the GLBTQIRSVPIOU (well, something like that) community in hopes of finding people more accommodating of my uniqueness.
