Someone asked recently about avatars how to add them. Since we have a bunch of new members recently, I'll share once again how you can add it.

I have our settings set under really tight security. Most of this invisible to you when using these forums. The inability to add your own avatars or post an attachment is one thing that is noticable.

If you would like to add an avatar for yourself to use, simply send it to me in as a small jpeg or gif via email. It should be no bigger than 100x100 pixels. If you can only send something outside of that range, I can make it fit but prefer it ready for upload.

The same goes for attachments. I am happy to post items of general interest for our members to read.
