Every year in Britain around one in 4,000 babies are born with both male and female features, caused by a variety of congenital disorders. Doctors define their condition as 'intersex', the modern term for hermaphroditism. What is it like to be brought up as the wrong sex, or between genders?

The second part of Secret Intersex follows three people with the little known chromosomal anomaly - Klinefelter's Syndrome. Raised as boys, their genitalia failed to develop on puberty and they grew breasts in their teens.
