I guess I came in on the middle of something, but if I understand the term intersex correctly, it is an umbrella term, and doesn't define your gender...as in you can be female and have an intersex condition, or male and have an intersex condition. Not saying you should label yourself intersex, that is obviously up to you, but in my experience most people are not using IS as an identity, but a way to define certain physical/medical conditions. Do you mean that in your experience intersex has become a third gender category, or do you just not like the way it sounds? You seem very passionate about it, so I'm just trying to get a better idea where you are coming from.
