I know I have prador 2 genitals. I know there is another cause for this now which (spelling) polycistic ovaries?
PCOS= PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome. first, a Dx of PCOS does NOT exclude CAH, they often happen togther. You have had many ultra-sounds. If you had PCOS, it surely would have been seen on these. second, CAH's XX'ers are NOT infertile, they have difficulty maintaining a pregnancy (not the same as infertile) so your hot-line person is uninformed.
And your stones are NOT unrelated. salt-wasters typically suffer from them.
As for height, CAH's typically experience Adrenarche (the first sign of puberty in BOTH genders is body hair caused by.... androgens) extremely early; closing the epiphysis, and stunting growth. so you seldom see a CAH over 5'4.
The mistake folks make in judging a medical condition, is the erroneous assumption that an individual MUST have EVERY symptom, and that those symptoms MUST fall within a statistical average.
It is not necessary to have a temp. over 101 to get a dx of an infection of some sort, and be treated with an anti-biotic. Because 98.6 is a statistical average. therefore, for some folks, a temp. of "merely" 99 IS a fever..... and combined with other symptoms IS an infection...
and no doctor worth his salt is going to let you die of septicemia, just because you don't fit his pre-concieved notion of what a fever is.
