Due to the dangers of salt wasting CAH, hospitals routinely screen new born children for SWCAH. It is something that you should expect to routinely happen with your baby. If you are in doubt, I would recommend asking your midwife about the health tests that your child can expect to undergo.

I asked my midwife, I'm having a home birth, I hate the way I get treated at hospitals, they ask the stupidest questions. Well I don't need to deal with it when I'm having a baby.
They don't screen I have to buy a test for 86$.
