If working to inform people of things essential for their very survival, which in these times most people find simply too unpleasant to contemplate, cannot rightly be considered an advocacy toward solution, then you are quite right.
Sadly it is now obvious to the remaining few, who indeed can still think critically and reason wisely, that to extol complacency and blissful ignorance as virtues is the very height of foolishness. That you also can, let alone will, even confuse such with openness and awareness, fills me not with any sense of rivalry or even annoyance, but rather a sense of pity which deepens with every word you write.
Your most unfortunate generation, which has been raised on poisonous fast food and mind numbing hyperbolic media spin and disinformation, in place of an education, is in dire need of becoming aware of the incredible peril which it faces. The apparent economic upturn now occurring within isolated pockets of European society, coinciding with the burgeoning EU, will prove to be very short lived, and what I have warned you of will become clear, even to all such as you, very shortly.
To refuse the flotation device thrown to you, in the water in which you now unknowingly drown, is bad enough surely. Do not now compound your folly by also cursing the one who threw it to you. Rather consider that maybe, just maybe, you don't know absolutely everything after all, and at least linger near the float now bobbing nearby. You may yet be fortunate enough, to later realize, that you most desperately need it. Conserve your options. I guarantee that eventually you will tire of treading water.
As for my "looking back". It has been rightly said that, those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it, and so surely it is true that those who refuse to will also.
