Similar concerns possibly?
I have talked to doctors in the past about my female gait. I tried to explain how my body feminized in my childhood and I believe the skeleton feminized and I developed a female pelvis. This would explain my female walk but doctors think it's all in my head. I have tried to show them my walk and had an x-ray done but they don't see anything wrong and in their opinion the x-ray showed a normal male pelvis. I have the frustration of going out in public and being riducled as to my walk and confusion as to my gender. When I see doctors and I show them my walk they give a few seconds of a casual look and then just dismiss it. I believe doctors have a certain belief that things are a certain way and what I'm trying to explain is not possibe so they resort to comments like are you having any mental problems. A karyotype was done which showed 46xy/46xx but was not seen as definitive as further tests showed 46xy. The biggest problem I've had are with doctors attitudes.
To me doctors have been more of a hinderence than a help, most of the things I've found out is through my persistence.
