The quotes above are intriguing.....in the past, quite heated discussions took place in regards to what is “really” intersex and what is not. It appeared that some of the judged “have-nots” did clearly have a “disorder” of sex differentiation …i.e., involving primary and/or secondary sex characteristics…as is known in medical parlance.
The question comes to mind, what is the “current standard” or accepted protocol (if any) which distinguishes a DSD from being an intersex or non-intersex condition And is that standard (if any) satisfactory to people who fall under those criteria.
This may possibly be converted to another thread, if apppropriate.
