Bad medicine in New England

Dr Marc Lauffer, of Brigham and Women's hospital
Who after examining my records and inviting 2 or 3 surgical associates in to stare at my crotch, on the second visit said that if I was a child he'd book me for emergency surgery right away, but that being an adult made me unsuitable, and that regarding my painful scary bad health "you have my sympathies"

Dr John Heaney, of the Hitchcock medical center
Who was supposed to simply insert a probe in past my urethra to one of the two suspicious lumps behind my bladder, for a cell sample, as had been requested by Dr Lauffer, and who looked at my records and later refused. His witty banter including --
- it can't be as serious as it looks, or else you'd be dead by now
- I'll decide whether to do this test based on "what I decide your gender is"

(after looking at the mri images, and failing to feel any lumps corresponding to a prostate
- You /had/ m2f surgery, haven't you? come on admit it ...
(question repeated 6 or 7 times during the appointment)

More bad medicine to follow, with names.
