unwanted hair

Since the age of 15 I've always had facial hair under my chin, and chest and gotten worse when I became pregnant at the age of 16. This problem is very depressing. I've plucked, shaved, and as of this year I started using a doctor prescribed cream called vaniqa. this cream does not remove the hair permenently but retards the growth, overall this product is good but, I want this issue gone for good. is there a horomonal shot, or pills I can take to resolve this nusenace.
