a quick bit of online advice...please read unless you like spam
It's a really bad idea to post personal email addresses in the form of anyone@anyplace.tld. The reason it's a bad idea is that spammers use spiders to crawl web pages (including forum pages) looking for addresses posted. These spiders harvest the addresses and then you end getting a ton of spam. I try to keep up with the spiders that crawl this space and exclude them (or try to at least) using a special file within our web structure, but it is impossible to keep up with all of them. Even though I am specifically thinking of these forums, it is a major problem across the web.
A better suggestion is to either post an email address if you are so inclined using a format such as "anyone at anyplace dot tld" (where tld is your extension...i.e .org, .net, etc). You can also click on someone's name and see if they included an email address that is accessible when they registered and write directly to them, or use the private messaging function. We have several email address for Bodies posted throughout the entire website and even though we use spam filtering software, still get several a day. Everytime I think I get a spammer excluded, they seem to change their tricks. Betsy ---doing my part to keep your email usable, free, and clear of spam.

Another trick I heard about
The thing I heard about was to do @ twice. Like "whoever@@emailserver.com" & supposedly this works too. Then all someone has to do is remove one of the @s if they want to send you something. Since the bots don't do this, it should work, in theory.
Just thought I'd mention this. Andi
