True Colors X---Please Help!

Your financial help is desperately needed.

Bodies Like Ours has been scheduled to present three (maybe four) workshops at True Colors X in March. This symposium for youth, their educators, and their counselors attracts about 2000 people each year. It is being hosted by the University of Hartford, and sponsored by Our True Colors.

One of the workshops we hope to do (already accepted by True Colors) is specifically for intersex youth and their partners (no grown-ups allowed!) Caitlin Childs, a young intersex activist and her partner have agreed to present this workshop for Bodies Like Ours. Caitlin has MRKH and has presented several workshops about intersex. Both live in the Atlanta area. However, they cannot afford to get to Hartford on their own.

It’s important that intersex youth know they are not alone, and this workshop can help ease some of their isolation. It is our belief that it is a wonderful step in that direction.

Airfares have come down quite a bit this past week so we would like to get Caitlin and Aiden flights this week before they go back up. Right now, we can get roundtrip tickets for $211 each.

We are hoping that you can help make this important workshop happen by helping Caitlin and Aiden get to Hartford and paying for their airfare.

You can make this important workshop happen by donating on-line at http://www.bodieslikeours.org/Suppo...rts/donate.html , phoning in a credit card donation to our office at 908-832-7755, and by mailing a donation to

Bodies Like Ours
PO Box 416

Thank-you for helping us erase the pain and loneliness intersex youth often suffer.
