Hey everyone...

Saturday morning 4/12 between 1am-5am, our webhost is doing a major upgrade on the server software that runs this forum. I've updated the forums to bring them into what should be good compliance. I've checked and double checked everything and there shouldn't be any problems. Frankly, my eyes are pretty tired from examining all the code to make sure.

If I understand this correctly, it should eventually fix some security issues I have regarding posting of attachments (and thus keep that functionality turned off) If it does fix these problems, I will enable posting of attachments and personal avatars. That won't happen immediately, but should within a few weeks after the initial upgrade.

However, I will be off-line during this upgrade period and it is possible that something could break. If it does, please be assured that Saturday morning I will be back online and will be dealing with it at that time. I will back everything up tomorrow evening to ensure that no posts are lost; our host also does a complete backup of all sites nightly.

Hands down until tomorrow night...the upgrade did not take place this evening due to a problem they encountered. They were concerned about two domains and since my mailbox is empty, I assume it wasn't us...
