What do you want in primary care physicians?

My group (Intersex Initiative) has been invited to do a training for a local walk-in clinic for low-income people and homeless youth. While they won't have any endocrinologists or specialists, I think it's important that primary care physicians get educated about intersex so that they are supportive since so many of us are scared of any medical settings due to negative experiences in the past.

So my question is, what do you want primary care physicians and clinic staff to know or do so that you feel safe and supported? I want to use your input to develop a good workshop. Please respond here or email emi@ipdx.org. Thanks!
