copyright clearance

There has been a plethora of medical research coming out recently that we need with. Emi often comments on the most important items at

As those items come outIntersex Initiative often has commentary on the study results.

Because Bodies Like Ours can usually easily get reposting clearance easily for the asking, we would like some help getting them. We have copies of just about everything but I don't have time to constantly work on getting reprint clearance.

If you are interested in helping us gain clearance to repost articles or links to research articles so people can read it without paying gobs of money please let me know.

I'll send you a sample letter to use (you can fill in the blanks, and I'll send the citations we need/want)

Access to this information is particularly important for parents of intersex children and while this information is included in our research sections, it will also be incorporated into a new section for parents of intersex children looking for answers to their questions.

betsy

I'll send citations and a simple fill in the blank letter.

I like the quote taken below from Intersex Initiative:

"The clinician's choice is stark: to share the diverse opinions with patients and parents and assist them to develop their own responses, or pretend to certainty and intervene before they learn what questions to ask."

No health professional or layperson should ever assume the life course of any intersexed person with the dictum of "they know best".

If applicable , I would like to help with this.
I have some experience with medical professionals, having dealt with and worked many years in that environment. And I can speak their lingo.

Dana
