I started with the topic of medical records, and it looks like there is going to be some time involved resolving that issue, but some very interesting discussion about early surgical work on many of us has been the result.

I would like to describe myself as best as I can and see where it goes from there.

From my mother, I know I had Inguinal Hernia surgery at about 3 years of age. Apparently the issue was such as there was worry about gangrene setting in. My father was out of work and they didn't have the money, but necessity ruled and the surgery was performed. That's about all I know as far as details. Nothing has ever been discussed, and recent conversation has yielded little light.

My Inguinal was a bilateral. As Dana suggested, it was probably a laparotomy of some sort. These scars are very prominent running parallel to the folds of the leg in the lower abdomen. Both sides are about 5" to 6" long and very white in appearance.

There is another scar, but not so noticable, at the base of my penis. I only found it after shaving. It is right in the fold above the penis base and runs horizontal. The cut is longer on my right side than the left. This one seems to have healed fairly well and I would almost suspect it to be like a natural fold in the skin, except for the lack of symmetry and the crookedness.

There is another scar that is about an inch or so long between my legs getting close to my rectum. Again, this one almost seems natural, but there is some unevenness and is white in appearance. The natural line that continues from it is more of a reddish color and is obviously natural. That line run all the way up to my scrotum, but that last inch+ towards my rectum is white and I can feel the bump of it.

Interesting that hypospadias has never been mentioned to me and I have not been able to get any confirmation from my parents. What I don't know is perhaps what I am seeing is the result of circumcision. Perhaps someone can shed some light on this. About an inch down the back of my penis is a "hole". I use quotes because it appears to be a healed over hole. It is difference in color and texture as to the rest of the surrounding skin. It is also very sensitive. It is the most sensitive part of me. Not to be gross, but stimulating this alone can bring me to orgasm. There also appears to be a scar line at the centered pee hole on the glans. It runs from the beginning of the fold at the tip of my penis down towards the above mentioned hole. It is pretty white and feels like scar tissue. It is fine, however, and hard to determine whether it really is a scar.

To add some additional information about the rectal area, I remember when I was about 5 years old, my rectum at this scar had a tear. It was painful. Seems there was some bleeding and it took quite a while to heal. I don't remember anything else about that incident, but wonder if there is a connection to the earlier surgery.

As far as general appearance goes, I'm a bit short as far as penis size goes, but things look fairly normal.

Hard stuff to talk about, but would be interested if anyone can identify and pass along any pertinent information.
