the endless cycle of violence in Iraq had the misfortune of reminding me of an old shampoo commercial. we bomb the clerics we don't like, so they get madder at us, so we bomb them more, ad nauseum.

So all I could think of was: ...and then they bomb two friends, and then they bomb two friends, and so on, and so on,...
