Where do you wear your genitals?

Often when speaking, I make note of the fact that we don't wear our genitals on our foreheads when a moment of levity is necessary. Today I learned that is not the case for all people, particularly those attending a little party in midtown manhattan this week:

Hi Betsy,

Cute. I know that people generally do not wear their genitals on their foreheads (except for this guy.) An important aspect of intersex life is that we do not have to wear our genitals on our heads for other people to know that we are intersex. We have language, and people can be informed about our intersex status without our having to take off our cloths. Believe me, the vast majority of people who know that I am intersex have never seen my genitals. So discrimination based upon intersex status has very little to do with the location of our genitals.

harummph!

That's not this guy's genitals.....it's his brains, which managed to get squeezed out from his skull ( or from his pubic region) during an exuberant dance whilst responding to the speeches espousing his party's homophobic genito-centric socio- political agenda......."people of compassion" indeed!!

Hi Dana,

At first, I thought that the picture came from some "progressive" event. Only a couple of days later, did I read in the newspaper that the "People Of Compassion" event was a Republican bash where guys were wearing their.... um, "brains" on their heads. Thanks for the clarification.
